Tutors juggle a password for every app, and admin staff spend the first week of term resetting them. Here documents, spreadsheets, slides, the whiteboard, mail, meetings, online lessons and design sit in the same portal as your timetable, families and billing, so staff sign in once.

Built for tutoring

Questions about the suite
- Do our staff need separate accounts for each tool?
- No. Every tool is part of your centre's portal, so staff use the one sign-in they already have, with two-step sign-in where your centre requires it.
- Will our Word, Excel and PowerPoint files work?
- Yes, with the limits stated on each tool's page. XWrite opens and saves Word (.docx), XGrid imports and saves Excel (.xlsx) and CSV, and XDeck imports and saves PowerPoint (.pptx). A few things do not carry over, such as animations and SmartArt in a deck, and XDeck lists them when you import.
- Where is our data kept?
- Your centre's documents, spreadsheets, decks, boards, designs, mail and files are stored in Sydney, Australia. Email is delivered through our email provider, live video and sound travel through our video provider's servers, and AI features may be processed outside Australia.
- Who can see a document a tutor shares with a student?
- The people it is shared with, and the student's parents. A document shared between a member of staff and a child always goes to the child's parents too.
- Does it work on an iPad or a phone?
- Everything runs in the browser with nothing to install. XInk is made for an iPad and a pen, XInbox lays itself out for a phone, and the editors work best on an iPad or a laptop.
- Do the tools cost extra?
- They are part of the platform. Video, email and AI features run on your centre's own accounts or on ours; on ours, your centre's use is metered.
