Why XTutio
Seven reasons to run your centre on XTutio.
One login
The timetable, families and billing, the documents, mail, classroom and whiteboard, and the student learning apps sit behind the same sign-in. Nothing to glue together.
Australian child safety built in
A tutor's working with children check is looked at when a lesson is booked, a home visit needs a current one, no staff member has a private channel with a child, and a lone-worker timer watches every home visit.
A tutor in the loop
AI drafts and a person decides: a first pass on homework marking that the tutor checks, and a lesson wrap-up the tutor edits before it is saved. "On your own" shows what a child can do without help.
Names out of every AI prompt
A child or parent is "Student A" to the model, contact details are scrubbed, and every call is logged and costed to your centre. Your records are stored in Sydney, Australia.
No extra seats
The documents, mail, video and design tools come with the platform. No charge per tutor, staff member, campus or parent.
Built for tutoring
Answer keys and student copies, a board that gives each student a page, games that feed one spaced-review memory, letter-by-letter spelling feedback, and a training academy with subject tests.
No billing disputes
Families see the exact figure before they confirm a cancellation, a late fee waits while they book a makeup, and they are told before a billing change. Every dollar is on a record nothing edits.
Teach online
Online lessons spread over three apps. Now board, faces and screen are one room.
Tutors juggle a video app, a whiteboard and a screen share while students wait for links. In XTutio the tutor, students and parents are on camera beside the lesson board, with screen sharing, raised hands, reactions and live captions, all inside your centre's own portal.
- No lost first five minutes
- Camera, microphone, speakers and connection are tested before anyone joins, and families wait until the tutor is in.
- The roll fills itself
- Who was in the room, and for how long, pre-fills the roll, so the tutor only confirms it.
Move a lesson
Moving a lesson shouldn't cause three new problems. See what it costs before it saves.
The front desk moves a lesson and finds the clash, the wrong charge or the unhappy family later. In XTutio nothing saves on the drop: a card shows the new time, the tutor's pay, the family's charge and every clash, then you press Save, with Undo for ten seconds after.
- Families told only when you choose
- A tick on the card emails each parent the new time, after Undo has passed.
- Clashes found before families do
- The tutor's other lessons, the room, leave and campus closures, each in a sentence.
Mark the roll
The roll, the invoice and the pay run, kept apart. Now one tap does all three.
Owners and admins copy attendance into billing and payroll by hand, and lessons slip through. In XTutio a tutor marks who came, and the lesson is charged to the family at your price and counted in the tutor's next pay run. A group of four is one tap.
- No double charges to apologise for
- Marking twice on a phone never bills twice, and un-marking takes the charge back.
- Tutors paid right
- Each lesson is paid in one pay run, to the tutor who taught it, covers included.
Bushmates
A pet that grows when they learn.
Children practise more when there is a reason to come back, but most rewards in apps either sell coins or punish a weekend away. Every child raises a quokka, a sugar glider or a platypus. Maths, spelling and reading grow it up and earn it gear they can see, and weekends never cost it a thing.

The XTutio suite
Everything your centre writes, in the same place as everything it runs.
Staff juggle a different login for every tool, and the work ends up in personal accounts. Documents, spreadsheets, slides, a live whiteboard, mail, staff meetings, online lessons and design are built into your centre's portal: one sign-in for your staff, and fewer subscriptions to keep.

Safe by design
Built for a product that children use.
Child safety is not a setting you remember to turn on. It is in what the AI is allowed to say, who can be booked, what parents can see and how a tutor at a family's home stays in reach.
- AI that's safe for kidsNames replaced before a model sees them, every answer checked first, and a coach that won't do the homework.
- Working with children checksLooked at on every booking, verified by a person, and always required for a home lesson.
- Parents can see everythingNo private channel between staff and a child, parents in online lessons, and a concern reported in a tap.
- Home tutoring safetyA help button, check in and out, a timer that follows up, and addresses only around the visit.
Today's problem
3x + 5 = 20
Can you just tell me what x is?
You're close. What happens if you take 5 away from both sides, so the 3x is on its own?

How it works
Set up at your own pace. Open when it is real.
Every screen exists because a tutor, a parent or a receptionist at our founder's centre needed it.
- 01
Set up in an afternoon
New systems usually open half set up, and owners find the gaps when families do. Campuses, tutors, services and billing go through a checklist that verifies each step against live data, so you open when every step is real, not ticked.
- 02
Invite families
No re-typing every family. A parent signs up with a code from your centre, adds their children, and each child gets a username. Existing Teachworks families, students and tutors import after a preview that lists anything left out, and why.
- 03
Run the week
Less chasing for admin staff. Lessons roll into notes, notes into homework, homework into progress. Invoices go out, direct debits settle themselves, and an overdue chase goes once a week, not daily.

Home
XTutio runs a tutoring centre in one login: scheduling, billing and payroll, a parent app and a student app, staff email, documents, an online classroom and child safety. XTutio is for Australian tutoring and coaching centres, from a single campus to many, teaching at the centre, online or in families' homes.
FAQ
Questions centres ask
- Can we keep our own domain?
- Yes. Your centre lives at yourname.xtutio.com from day one, and you can bring a domain you already own. Your name, colours and domain are on every screen your families use.
- Do parents pay you or us?
- Parents pay your centre. Your centre opens its own Airwallex account from inside XTutio (or, by arrangement, keeps Pinch), so your centre is the merchant, invoices carry your name and ABN, and the money settles to your bank account. A stated fee per payment, shown to you before you switch payments on. XTutio never holds your parents' money.
- We run on Teachworks today. What happens to it?
- Import it. XTutio mirrors students, lessons and employees from your Teachworks account, so you can run both side by side and move when you are ready.
- Where is our data?
- Your records and files are stored in Sydney, Australia. Email goes out through our email provider, live video travels through our video provider's servers, and AI requests may be processed outside Australia. Every record is stamped with the centre it belongs to.
- Does it use AI?
- Where it helps staff: a first pass on marking, drafting the lesson wrap-up, and the classifier that watches for child-safety issues. A child reaches AI only where your centre and the family's plan allow it, and a parent can switch it off. Names are replaced before anything reaches a model, and every call is logged and costed to your centre.
