Notifications and unsubscribing

Why this exists

Too many messages make it hard to spot the ones that matter. You can choose which reminders you get and how, and stop promotions at any time. Messages about your child's lessons, account and safety still reach you.

Your centre sends you two kinds of messages:

• About your child's lessons and account: lesson reminders and changes, invoices and receipts, messages from your tutor, password resets and anything about your child's safety. These are part of the service.
• Promotions: offers, events, holiday programs and newsletters. You can stop these at any time.

Choose your reminders

1. Open Notification settings.
2. Turn each kind of alert on or off for each channel, for example lesson reminders by text.
3. Save.

If your centre has the notification centre switched on, the choices are grouped, and a few are Always on because they keep you and your children safe: safety, your account, and emergencies.

Lesson updates from the tutor

When a tutor writes an update after a lesson, you are told here in the app, with your child's first name and the lesson date. Open it to read the update on the lesson's page.

To get an email as well, open Settings and tick Email me lesson updates under Lesson updates. It is off until you tick it, and it applies to your whole family. The email names your child and the lesson date and links to the lesson; it never contains the update itself.

Stop promotional emails

Every promotional email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Press it and confirm. You will still get anything to do with your lessons, your account and your invoices.

Stop promotional texts

Promotional texts end with "Reply STOP to opt out". Reply STOP and you will not get promotional texts from your centre again.

Changed your mind?

Only you can undo your own request to stop. Contact your centre and say you would like to hear from them again; they will record that you asked.
