Joining a group class

Why this exists

Finding a group class that suits your child's year and your week, and knowing whether there is a seat, can take several phone calls. Where your centre has opened classes to families, you can see what is on, check the price and join from your portal. If a class is full, the waitlist tells you when a seat comes free.

Some centres run weekly group classes for a term, with a set number of seats. Where your centre has opened classes to families, you can join one from your portal.

Before you start

If you do not see Group classes in your menu under More, your centre has not opened group classes to families yet.

Steps

1. Open More > Group classes.
2. Choose your child. You see the classes open for their year.
3. Press See the price and join. You see the price each week, when it starts and how many weeks remain.
4. Press Join the class to confirm.

When a class is full

1. Press Join the waitlist.
2. When a seat comes free, you are told in the app that A seat is held for you. It is held for 48 hours.
3. Press Take the seat, or Not now to pass it to the next family.

You can Leave waitlist at any time.

Good to know

• Joining charges nothing straight away. Each week is charged by your centre's normal billing as it is taught.
• The price shown is an estimate ("About"), because the charge follows the roll and your centre's policy.
• To leave a class, contact the centre.
• If your centre manages lessons in another system for now, contact the centre instead.
