Cancelling one child's place in a group class
When your child cannot come to one week of a group lesson, cancel just their place and see the cost first.

Why this exists
In a group lesson, one child being sick should not mean cancelling the lesson for every family. Where your centre allows it, you can cancel just your own child's place for that week, and see the cost first. Everyone else's lesson goes ahead as normal.
In a group lesson with other families, you can cancel your own child's place for one week, where your centre has switched this on. The lesson still goes ahead for everyone else.
Steps
- Open the lesson from Lessons.
- Press Cancel (your child's name)'s place.
- Read the figure. Your centre's cancellation policy applies, just as for a whole lesson.
- If it is late, choose a reason. Choose My tutor asked me to if that is what happened.
- Confirm.
Good to know
- If you do not see the button, your centre has not switched this on. Contact the centre instead.
- The fee covers your child's share of the lesson only.
- A late fee is held. If your child attends a makeup inside your centre's window, it is cleared. The centre books the makeup with you.
- If your child is the only one left in the lesson, you cannot cancel their place here. Contact the centre.
- Lessons at your home cannot be cancelled this way.
