Getting started in the parent app

How to sign in, what you see on Home, and where everything else lives in the menu.

Updated 18 October 2026

Why this exists

Keeping up with lessons, homework, invoices and messages can mean chasing emails and texts from different places. The parent app puts all of it in one place for every child in your family. Your centre sets up your account, so you can start using it straight away.

The parent app is where you follow your children's lessons, homework and progress, talk to your centre and manage your family's details. Your centre sets up your family, so you do not need to create an account yourself.

Before you start

Your centre sends you an invitation or tells you the email address they have on file for you. If you have never set a password, use Forgot password on the sign-in page to choose one.

  1. Go to your centre's portal address and open Sign in.
  2. Type your email address and your password.
  3. You land on Home.

What is on Home

Home puts the things you open the app for at the top:

  1. A lesson happening right now, and each child's next lesson.
  2. Anything that needs you, such as a makeup lesson to book or feedback to give.
  3. Homework and what is coming up this week.
  4. Setup cards, such as giving a child their own login.

The menu

The main menu has Home, My family, Calendar, Library and Settings. Everything else sits under More, in four groups:

  • Your child's learning: lessons, homework, makeups, exams, reports, notes and documents, plus Book a lesson where your centre lets families book.
  • Money: billing, and anything else your centre uses for payments.
  • Contact and safety: messages, feedback, home lessons, the Safety centre, your privacy, and Notices and the Enrolment agreement where your centre uses them.
  • Learn for yourself: training, courses and other tools for you.

Some items only appear when your centre uses them. If you do not see something another family mentions, your centre may not offer it.

Good to know

  • The same sign-in works on a phone, tablet or computer.
  • Your children have their own logins for the student app. You set those up in My family.
