Your calendar on a phone

See your lessons on My calendar, and move one from your phone with the same check the centre calendar uses.

Updated 18 October 2026

Why this exists

Tutors are rarely at a desk when a lesson needs to move. My calendar shows your own lessons on any device, and on a phone you can move one in a few taps. You see the effect on your pay, the family charge and any clashes before anything saves.

My calendar shows your own lessons. It works on a phone, a tablet and a computer. Open it from Home > My calendar.

Steps to move a lesson on a phone

  1. Open My calendar and switch to the day list or day view.
  2. Tap the lesson.
  3. Press Move, then type the new date and time.
  4. Read the card. It shows the new time, your pay, the family charge and any clashes.
  5. Tick Email the family about the new time if the family should be told.
  6. Press Save. A confirmation shows with Close.

On a computer you can also drag a lesson in the week view. The same card opens before anything saves.

Good to know

  • You can only move a lesson if you are allowed to. A tutor cannot move a lesson that is already completed or a no-show.
  • The family is not told unless you tick the email box.
  • If your centre's lessons are managed in Teachworks for now, there is no Move. Change it in Teachworks.
  • To see your lessons in Google, Apple or Outlook calendar, use your calendar link.
