Seeing your lessons in another calendar
Subscribe to your lessons from Google, Apple or Outlook calendar, and connect two-way sync where your centre has it.

Why this exists
Tutors juggling another job or uni do not want to check two calendars to know where they need to be. A subscription link puts your lessons in the calendar app you already use. Where two-way sync is on, the office also sees when you are busy, so they stop booking you over your other commitments.
You can see your lessons in the calendar app you already use. Open Calendar sync from your settings.
Subscribe with a link
Your subscription link shows every lesson assigned to you, with the student and location, and personal events you added to your portal calendar. It covers the last 30 days and the next 120 days.
- Open Calendar sync.
- Press Copy URL.
- Follow the steps on the page for your app: Apple Calendar on iPhone, iPad or Mac, Google Calendar on the web, or Outlook.
Calendar apps check the link on their own schedule, from every few minutes to a day for Google. If you think someone else has your link, press Generate new URL. The old one stops working at once.
Two-way sync
Where your centre has it switched on, the page also shows Two-way sync for Google or Outlook.
- Your lessons are written to your own calendar with the student's first name, the service and the time. A home lesson only says "At home". No notes or family details are written.
- Busy times in your calendar (never their titles) count as busy when the centre looks for free times, and show as a warning when a lesson is moved onto them.
- Disconnect at any time. Your lessons are removed from your calendar and the connection is deleted.
If you do not see Two-way sync, it is not switched on for your centre yet.
