Undo send and Schedule send
Take a message back in the seconds after you send it, or choose a time for it to go.
Updated 18 October 2026
Why this exists
Everyone has sent a message a moment too early, or written to a family late at night when a morning email would land better. Undo send gives you a few seconds to take a message back, and Schedule send lets you write now and choose when it goes.
Two ways to control when a message leaves your mailbox.
Undo send
After you press Send, a bar shows Sending in 8s with an Undo button.
- Press Undo before the count ends.
- The message opens again exactly as it was, attachments included, so you can fix it.
You can close the message or move to another conversation while the count runs. The message still goes when the count ends. If you leave the page, anything still waiting is sent straight away.
Schedule send
- Write your message as usual.
- Open Schedule send next to Send.
- Pick a time such as Tomorrow morning or Monday morning, or Pick a date and time. Times are in your centre's time zone and must be within a year.
- The message waits in the Scheduled folder until then.
Good to know
- Scheduled messages are checked again when they go, so a family who opted out after you scheduled a promotion is still skipped.
- To change a scheduled message, open it from Scheduled.
