Snooze and follow-up reminders

Hide a conversation until you can deal with it, or have it come back if nobody replies.

Updated 18 October 2026

Why this exists

Some mail cannot be answered today, and some replies never come unless you chase them. Snooze hides a conversation until you can deal with it, and a follow-up reminder brings it back if nobody answers. You stop keeping these things in your head or on sticky notes.

Snooze a conversation

  1. Open the conversation, or hover over it in the list.
  2. Press Snooze (or press b).
  3. Choose Later today, Tomorrow, This weekend, Next week, or Pick a date and time.

The conversation moves to Snoozed and comes back to your Inbox at that time. To bring it back early, open it in Snoozed and choose to stop snoozing.

Remind me if nobody replies

  1. When you write a message, open Remind me if nobody replies.
  2. Choose how many days, for example in 1 week.

If nobody has answered by then, the conversation comes back to your Inbox so you can follow up.

Good to know

  • A reply from the family ends the snooze or the reminder straight away and puts the conversation back in your Inbox.
  • Snoozed conversations and reminders wake up the next time you open the mailbox after their time.
  • Times are in your centre's time zone.
