The centre overview

The owner's dashboard: what needs a decision, how the week is going, and a quick way to any admin page.

Updated 18 October 2026

Why this exists

Running a centre means checking many screens to find what is late, overdue or waiting for a decision. As the centre owner or an admin, the overview gathers what needs you, ranked by urgency, with one button to deal with each item. You can see how the week is going in one view instead of hunting for it.

The centre overview is the first page of the admin side, under Home > Overview. It answers two questions at a glance: what needs me, and how is the centre going.

Before you start

Any staff member who can reach the admin side can open it, but each figure and queue only appears if you hold the permission for it. An admin limited to some campuses sees only those campuses.

Needs a decision

A ranked list of everything waiting on you: urgent things first, then safety, money and housekeeping. Each item has a one-line reason and one button to deal with it. The top five show first; press to see the rest.

Examples include expired working with children checks, past lessons with no roll, invoices overdue, new enquiries and a placeholder ABN.

Setup or today

  • While your setup checklist is unfinished, Setup progress shows how far you are.
  • Once it is finished, Today at a glance shows today's lessons.

Health cards

Lessons and attendance this week (with last week's trend), students, families, what invoices still ask for after credit notes, and tutors cleared to teach. A figure that cannot be read is left out, never shown as zero.

The week

Lessons each day this week, with a briefing beside the figures. A centre with no lessons in the portal yet sees what to do next instead.
