Your child's termly progress review
Read the short review your child's tutor writes near the end of each term, and answer any offer for next term.

Why this exists
It is hard to see how much your child has grown over a term when you only hear about one lesson at a time. The progress review gives you a short summary from the tutor of what was covered, where your child started and where they are now. You also see what the tutor plans to focus on next.
Near the end of each term, your child's tutor writes a short review for you. Where your centre has switched this on, you find it in your portal once the tutor has approved it.
What it covers
- What we covered: what your child worked on this term.
- Where they started and where they are now: levels, results and what they can do on their own.
- What is next: what the tutor will focus on next term.
A first draft may be written with AI from your child's records, but the tutor reads, edits and approves every review before you see it.
Steps
- Open the review from your portal when you are told it is ready.
- Read the three parts.
- If your centre offers it, ask for a 10-minute call. The centre will be in touch to find a time.
- If an offer for next term comes with it, choose to keep your child's time or not.
Good to know
- Keeping a time does not charge anything. The centre books the lessons and lets you know.
- An offer never renews by itself, and says how much notice you need to give to change or stop.
- If the hold on a time ends before you answer, contact the centre to see what is free.
