Your pay and pay statements

For tutors: see what you are owed, read your pay statement for each pay run, and raise a question about a line.

Updated 18 October 2026

Why this exists

Tutors often wait for a payslip to find out whether a lesson was missed or a rate was wrong. My pay shows your pay period as it builds, every pay run that included you and the rate behind each line. If something looks wrong you can tell the office from the line itself, before the money goes out.

Tutors can see their own pay in the portal: what this pay period looks like so far, every pay run that included them, and, where your centre has it on, a pay statement for each run.

See your pay

  1. Open your account menu and choose My pay, or go straight to My pay.
  2. This pay period so far is an estimate from your pay rates. The pay run the office approves is the final figure.
  3. Each pay run lists its lines, with a note of which rate applied.

If no pay rate is on file for you yet, the page shows hours only. The office sets rates.

Something looks wrong

  1. Next to the line, choose Something looks wrong?
  2. Say what is wrong (for example, the hours are short, or you never taught this lesson) and how urgent it is.
  3. Choose Send to office. The office replies on your Support page.

Pay statements

Where your centre has switched them on, you can read a pay statement for every approved, exported or paid pay run (never a draft). It lists your lessons (with the student's first name only), late cancellation pay, training and any bonuses, with totals. Use Print or save as PDF to keep a copy.

A pay statement is a summary, not a payslip. It shows no tax or super. Your official payslip comes from your centre's payroll.

Staff with payroll.view can open any tutor's pay statement from the pay run page, using Pay statement beside each tutor.

Good to know

  • If you covered someone else's lesson, the line is paid to you.
  • Where your centre turns it on, you get a notice in the app when a pay run that pays you is approved. The notice shows no amount.
  • If you do not see pay statements, they are not switched on for your centre yet. Ask your centre's admin.
