Campuses and opening hours

Add your campuses, set each one's opening hours, and switch a campus off when it closes.

Updated 18 October 2026

Why this exists

If your campuses and their hours are not set up, bookings, rooms and reports have nothing to group by, and occupancy figures are guesses. As the centre owner or admin, you add each place you teach and when it is open once. From then on lessons, staff and reports sort themselves by campus, and room use is measured against the hours you are really open.

A campus is a place where your centre teaches. Lessons, staff, rooms and reports are grouped by campus, and a centre needs at least one active campus before it can open.

Before you start

You need the locations.edit permission to open Settings > Campuses.

Add a campus

  1. Go to Settings > Campuses.
  2. Under Add a location, enter the name, address, suburb and postcode.
  3. Press Add location.

To change a campus later, press its edit button. Deactivate hides a campus from new bookings without deleting anything; Reactivate brings it back.

Set opening hours

  1. Press Opening hours beside the campus.
  2. For each day, set when you open and close, or tick that you are closed all day.
  3. Press Copy Monday to weekdays to copy Monday's hours to every weekday.
  4. Press Save hours.

Opening hours are in your centre's own time zone.

What opening hours are used for

  • Room occupancy works out how busy each room is out of the hours you are open.
  • A campus with no hours set falls back to the first booking to the last booking of the day, and the occupancy page says so.

Good to know

  • Public holidays and term breaks are not opening hours. Add them as closure days under Scheduling > Holidays and closures, so nobody books a lesson on one.
  • A campus name only has to be unique within your centre.
  • An admin who is limited to some campuses only sees and changes those campuses.
