Your enrolment form's questions

Choose which questions your public enrolment form asks, which are required, and add questions of your own.

Updated 18 October 2026

Why this exists

A form that asks too little leaves you chasing families for details, and one that asks too much puts families off before they enquire. As the centre owner or admin, you choose exactly which questions your public form asks and which are required. You get the information you need to match a tutor, and families fill in only what matters to you.

Families enquire through your centre's public enrolment form. You decide how short or detailed it is.

Before you start

You need settings.edit. The page is Settings > Enrolment form (Enrolment form). If the page says the extra questions are not switched on yet, families see the short form and nothing here can be saved yet.

Choose your questions

  1. Open the page. The top line says how many questions you ask beyond name and email.
  2. Press Start from the detailed form to switch on the common questions, or Back to the short form to switch them off.
  3. Under About each child, switch on what helps you match a tutor: year, school, date of birth, subjects, results or concerns, learning needs, how they learn best. Mark any as required.
  4. Under About the family, choose questions such as mobile, a second parent, address, campus, days, times, and whether they want lessons at the centre, online or at home.
  5. Under Consents, you can ask families to agree to your terms (a link to your terms page), and whether they would like tips, offers and updates.
  6. Under Your own questions, add up to 20 questions: short answer, long answer, pick one or pick any.
  7. Press Save. The public form uses it from then on.

The marketing question

If you ask whether a family would like updates and they leave it unticked, their email and mobile go on your do-not-market list, so no promotion reaches them. Replies about their enquiry still go. If they tick it, an earlier unsubscribe, STOP or bounce still stands until it is lifted.

Good to know

  • Answers show on the enquiry, with the wording as it was when the family answered.
  • Answers are never put in an email, a log or an AI prompt.
  • The lists of year levels and "How did you hear about us?" sources are on the same page.
